Public procures and technological experts will participate at the Final Event of the Probis project “ Innovation Procurement for Building into Practice” from PPI concepts to tender’s technical specification, 16th November, Turin, Italy.
The Envirornment Park S.L and the City of Turin organise the Final Conference of the Probis Project Supporting Public Procurement of Building Innovative Solutions at the Open Incet, Via Francesco Cigna 96/17, 10155 Turin, Italy.
This PROBIS Project aims to promote innovative public procurement among European public purchasers. The project, which contributes to more efficient and effective public services to facilitate the incorporation of environmental and social criteria in public procurement and access to ultimate innovative technologies aimed at increasing energy efficiency, incorporating renewable energy systems and increasing the sustainability of public owned buildings, promoting a European low carbon economy in the field of sustainable rehabilitation of public buildings, leading in the medium term to both energy savings and environmental improvements.
During the conference, partners from the PROBIS project will present their pilot project and will share their experiences in innovative procurement and attendees had the opportunity to learn from the results of the PROBIS project funded by the European Union,
The public event will share conclusions concerning the development of future PPI initiatives taking into consideration an open debate on the challenges and opportunities of the PPI at the sustainable building sector in Europe.
The PROBIS project counts on the participation of Environment Park SpA as project coordinator, the City of Turin and the company IREN Energia SpA, the company European House Ambrosetti together with the Region of Lombardy and the company ALER as partners in Italy; the Andalusian Energy Agency and the Andalusian Institute of Technology, project partners in Andalusia; and the SP Technical Research Institute for Innovation, the Municipality of Börlangue and the company Tunabyggen AB as partner in Sweden; and Miskolc Holding Local Asset Management Plc and the National Research, Development and Innovation Office as partners in Hungary. The project also counts on the collaboration of ICLEI Local Governments for Sustainability’s European network as dynamizer entity of European public purchasers in the sector.
